Home buying usually begins with thoughts of what you want your house to be like.  From features to that right location, neighborhood, or side of town.  The Web has become the place of choice and the most useful resource in doing your initial search.  Once you start getting ideas however make sure you take notes of things that appeal to you.  As you begin looking at properties remember that after you see several homes, they all kind of blend together so make mental notes and  jot down street addresses or MLS numbers to reference.
